Incredible cutting of both very thick solid wood and panels, even those veneered, thanks to the new saw unit with a blade that has a maximum diameter of 315 mm with the scoring blade fitted.

New scoring unit that can easily be adjusted from outside the machine, supplied on request.

Easier, more precise cutting: a perfectly stable support is guaranteed, even for large workpieces, by the 270 mm wide sliding table with sliding system through steel spheres on hardened and calibrated steel guideways.

Perfect parallel cuts thanks to the anodized aluminium parallel fence with support, quick locking device and micrometric adjustment.

Our NEW entry level sliding table saw, the minimax sc 2c is a proven design based on years of experience. It is perfect for customers upgrading to their first slider from an American tablesaw. The footprint is small, but the capacity is large. This slider, like all of our sliders, is standard with scoring, and can accommodate a 12” blade. The 5.5’ crosscut capacity is ideal for processing panels.

SCORING
The SC2 CLASSIC can be fiited with a scoring blade. This allows you to not only accurately cut panels, but you can cleanly cut them too. This is important when cutting particle board, melamine, laminated panels, or anything else to which you want to apply some type of edgebanding. If you are cutting solid wood, simply drop it below the table surface independently of the main blade. A 315mm main blade capacity is featured without having to remove the scoring blade. The scoring is belt-driven from the main motor.

CAST IRON RIP FENCE KNUCKLE
The SC2 CLASSIC has a thick, cast-iron knuckle, to which the extruded aluminum rip fence is attached. It rides on a large steel round bar, and is locked in placed with a cam design for maximum rigidity. It microadjusts into place via a rack and pinion design.

LARGE BLADE CAPACITY
The SC2 CLASSIC can accommodate a large, 12” blade without removing the scoring blade. When not using the scoring, it can be dropped below the table easily. Scoring adjustments are external, no tooling.

FLIP STOPS
The SC2 CLASSIC comes standard with two flip stops on the crosscut fence.
